Lynne Nores Gulino, 75, of Slidell, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 10, 2016, surrounded by family.
The wife of Richard Gulino, she is survived by siblings Marlene Nores Rice, Melody and Edmond F. Nores, Robert A. Nores, Jennifer and Michael Nores, and Margaret Miller; also her children Tommy and Tami Mire, Betty and Michael De Leo, Carrie and Kurt Bernard; step-children Marlene and David Moore, Richard Gulino Jr., Michael and Vicki Gulino, David and Beverly Gulino, Vincent Gulino, and Roxanne and Bubba Vestal; as well as 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Lynne was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes and after Hurricane Katrina of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. She was a legal secretary for Deutsch, Kerrigan and Stiles and officer with the St. Tammany Parish Legal Secretaries Association and a Charter member and officer of the Slidell Legal Secretaries Association. She was an active member of the Sons of Italy.
She retired after 18 years of service as a school bus owner/operator from St. Tammany School Board.

Services will be held on Monday, March 21 at Honaker Funeral Home and include visitation from 9 to 11 a.m., a funeral Mass at 11 a.m., followed by internment.
Frances (Fran) Saucier Newman, 87, formerly of Gulfport, MS, died peacefully at her home in Slidell on Friday, March 11, 2016, in the presence of God and family.
Born on January 26, 1929, in Electric Mills, MS, she was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Virginia Saucier; brothers, Coy Lee Saucier, Everett Saucier and Bill Saucier; sister, Kathryn Stegall; and her beloved husband of 63 years, Richard Bert Newman, Sr.
Fran’s greatest joy was living life with her Bert, whether it was running the golf pro shops where he was country club pro, traveling with friends to play the nation’s special courses, or praising his back yard grilling. She will be best remembered for her love of laughter shared with special friends, lifelong friends and family. She will be cherished for the love, hospitality and memorable meals she provided to all who entered her doorway.
Survivors include her children, Nancy D’Angelo, Jan Rasche, and Richard Newman, Jr. (Marsha); grandchildren, Jim Rasche (Buffy), Charles D’Angelo (April), Scott Newman (Barron), Ricky Newman (Kelli), and Jessica Rasche; nine great-grandchildren and numerous devoted nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to either Baptist Children’s Home in Jackson, MS or Canon Hospice in Covington. The family would also like to thank Canon Hospice for their excellent and compassionate care.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Floral Hills Cemetery in Gulfport. Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport is serving the family.

She was 73 years old.
She was the wife of Patrick Henry Killeen; mother of Patrick Alan Killeen and Paige Elizabeth Killeen; daughter of the late Lester and Peggy Anderson; sister of Terrance Anderson; Gayle Peralta; Alan “Butch” Anderson; and the late: Lester “Pete” Anderson; and David Anderson.

Debbie Guerra Salisbury passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, in Slidell.
She was 56 years old.
Debbie was born on July 29, 1959 in New Orleans and lived in St. Bernard Parish for most of her life.
She was the mother of Melissa “Missy” Brandt and Krissy Rogers (Paul, Sr); father of their children is the late Keith Gagliano; daughter of Lionel Guerra and the late Andretta “Tete” Guerra; sister of Cheryl Roper, Patty Nation (Pierre) and the late baby boy Guerra and Garlene “Tut” Serigne; grandmother of Briana and Brooke Brandt and Halli and Paul Rogers, Jr.; niece to Marilyn Costanza and the late Eldridge Treadaway, Jr. who are her Godparents; and godmother of Angel Roberts and Heather Oalmann.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2805 Bayou Rd., St. Bernard, on March 16. Arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Covington.
Mary Althea Mace Young, of Slidell, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016.
She was the wife of the late Calvin Charles Young, with she whom she co-founded Young’s Restaurant, one of Slidell’s oldest and most popular dining establishments.
Mrs. Young was also the co-creator, along with Calvin, of Nancy Ann Young, Kevin Anthony Young (Linda), Keith Damien Young (Lynda) and Craig Gerard Young.
For many years, Young worked in the kitchen of Young’s, preparing the hand-pressed burgers and pizzas for which the restaurant became famous during its early years. She then served as a hostess when Young’s was transformed from a pizza and hamburger restaurant to a fine dining steak and seafood establishment.
Beloved for her kindness and gracious personality, “Mrs. Mary” also became a second mother to the staff who worked at Young’s throughout the years, providing home-cooked meals for them each night at the end of their shifts.
She was a faithful parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and well known to many area clergy, schools and medical patients and their families for whose benefit Young’s hosted numerous fundraisers.
Mrs. Young will be sadly missed by her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and the countless friends and customers of Young’s restaurant.
The Young family would like to express their gratitude to Notre Dame Hospice, who cared for Mrs.Young during her last days. Though she was 84 when she passed from this life to the next, for all those who knew and loved her, she will remain forever Young.
The services and burial will be private.
Wanda Bailey Morel, of Slidell, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016,
She was 62 years old.
She was the wife of Ralph Joseph Morel Jr.; mother of Ralph J. Morel III (Michelle); Stephanie Morel Cernich (Joey); Joseph L. Morel; and Russell A. Morel (Enjolie); daughter of Jewel Kabel Bailey and the late Wallace August Bailey, Sr.; and sister of Joan Bailey; Theresa Goodey; and Wallace A. Bailey, Jr.
She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Dylan; Taylor; Rhyan; Sydney; Enjelle; numerous nieces and nephews.
