Frank Joseph Davis passed away at his residence at The Woodlands, Texas, on Monday, Dec. 9, 2013.
He was 71 years old.
He was the husband of 45 years to Mary Clare Bruscato Davis; father of Amanda Clare Davis Landry (Hughes J. Landry); son of Rosina Sellier Davis and the late Preston L. Davis Sr.; and brother of Rosina Marie Davis Smith, the late August Jude Davis and Preston L. Davis Jr.
He is also survived by four grandchildren, Elisabeth Clare Davis, Matthew Davis Landry, Zachary Joseph Landry and Benjamin Hughes Landry.
Davis was a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Slidell.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 61051 Brier Lake Dr., Lacombe, La., on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m.
Visitation will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd.,West, Slidell, LA, on Friday, Dec. 13 from 5 to 9 p.m., and at the church on Saturday after 10 a.m. until funeral time.
Donations to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital, preferred, in lieu of flowers.

Donald Reese Hill, of Slidell, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013,
He was 76 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Robbert Hill; sons, Kirk Reese Hill (Patti) and Todd Pfeiffer Hill (Paula); brother, Charles Hill; grandchildren, Christian, Casey, Catherine, Preston, and Brandon; and one great-grandchild, Caleb.
Hill is preceded in death by seven siblings.
Hill is being cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Samantha Lee Harder passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013.
She was 22 years old.
She was a 2013 graduate of Pearl River High School, Pearl River, and a member of STARC, Galloway Dance Studio and Center Stage School of Dance.
Harder is survived by parents, Edmund Clark Harder and Brenda Blackledge Harder; grandmother, Mary Blackledge; brother, William Samuel Sr. (Dusty); sister, Charlene Fortenberry (Phillip); and nieces and nephews, Kevin and Sean Dancer, Hailey Samuel, William Samuel Jr., and Abigail Samuel.
Funeral services were held on Dec. 7 from the chapel of D.T. Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Hwy. 41, Pearl River.
LaVern Roger Kuper passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, with his son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Barbara at his side.
He was 93 years old.
Kuper was born in Humboldt, NE to Diedrich and Maria Kuper.
During WWII, Kuper served on two ships in the Navy as Chief Radioman for four years, in both the Atlantic and Pacific, fighting in eight campaigns. He was awarded the American silver star and two bronze battle stars, and the Philippine Presidential Unit Citation (Navy), Liberation Medal, and Bronze Star.
He was the husband for 63 years to the late Rachel Wiencke; child, Philip and Barbara Kuper; and grandchild, Forrest Kuper.
He is also survived by his other children, Angela (Jim) Christmann of Santa Cruz, Calif. and Elizabeth Kuper of Lafayette, Colo., as well as his cousin, Ellen (Lester) Oestmann of Johnson, NE.

Tyler Bryant Bernos passed away on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013.
He was 21 years old.
He was the son of Tina Bernos; brother of Brittnei Alvarez; grandson of Richard Bernos and wife, Nancy; and Tina Jones and Althea Bernos; and nephew of Daniel Bernos, Gordon Bernos and Carol Bernos.
He was a native of Slidell.

Maude Jean Weiss Brady, of Slidell, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013.
She was 75 years old.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harriet Fostermann Weiss and Alvin Robert Weiss; daughter, Jody Brady; and grandson, Nicholas Catlanatto.
She is survived by son, Kevin M. Brady (Leslie); grandchildren, Christopher M. Brady, Katie M. Brady, and Nelson R. Brady; great-granddaughter, Carmella Rose Brady.
Brady retired from the FBI after 37 years of service.

Charles Dugas, of Slidell, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, in Slidell.
He was 79 years old.
He was the husband of Mildred Dugas; father of Carl Dugas (Carol), and the late Cynthia Dugas, Briant Dugas, and Glenn Dugas; son of the late Charles and Elsie Dugas; and brother of Harry Dugas. Jack Dugas, Barbara Dugas, and the late Yvonne Wisdom.
She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was a native of Arnoudville, La., and a resident of Slidell for the past 39 years. Dugas was retired from Bean Dredging in New Orleans.
