Raymond Peter Enriques Sr., 83, of Goodyear, Arizona passed away January 2, 2022. Raymond was born in New Orleans, LA and resided in Slidell, LA for 41 years. He is survived by his wife Edna (married 55 years); daughter April Guy, sons Raymond (Karen), Peter and Raymond Enriques Jr.; grandchildren Ricky Bradburry and Ashley Bradburry, and great-granddaughter Hazel Reyes. Priscilla McDonald Corbin, age 81, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022.
A native of St. Louis, MO, she was captain of her high school cheerleading squad and a member of the Alpha Chapter of Omega Delta Sorority.
For 30 years she accompanied her husband across the country and to Guam as he served in the U.S. Navy.
Edward “Eddie” Carmelo Saglibene, age 82, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021.
Born in New Orleans, he was a longtime resident of Slidell who was a retired electrician, working for Boeing and Lockheed Martin. He also served in the U.S. Army.
Wilfred “Will” John Argeanton, Jr., age 77, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.
A native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell for the past 42 years, he served in the Army National Guard and was a District Chief with the New Orleans Fire Department for 26 years.
He was a parishioner of St. Luke Catholic Church where he was a member of the Men’s Club and served as an usher.
Carolyn K. Fradella, age 68, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022.
Born in New Orleans, she worked as a secretary for the Goldberg law firm and then the National Finance Center at Michoud.
She later was a homemaker who became a crafter, attending many area shows, while she loved to cook for those in need, working as a member for Community Christian Concern.
Gloria Elizabeth Cosens, age 86, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021.
Born in Saratoga Springs, NY, she moved to Slidell in the early 60s and was very active in the community and with her hobbies.
She was an avid tennis player, competing in the Northlake Women’s Tennis League, and she also played bridge and Majong, worked in her yard, enjoyed reading, attending live concerts, theater and playing golf.
Gloria Lowrie Clements, age 94, of Pearl River, LA, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.
A native of Jacksonville, FL, she was a retired letter carrier with the Post Office and worked as a substitute teacher at Sixth Ward School.
She was a former Chapter President with the Pontchartrain Chapter of the Colonial Dames XVII Century, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and in 1964 received the International Grand Cross of Color for the Order of the Rainbow.
