Kevin Michael Chiri Jr. and Lauren Elizabeth Brumit were married on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Okla., with a small ceremony involving family and close friends, held in front of the lighthouse overlooking Lake Hefner. Chiri is the son of Kevin and Gail Chiri of Slidell, and worked as a web site technician for Hyundai of Slidell, and head of technical services for The Slidell Independent. He was homeschooled and graduated in May, 2013, and is planning to attend college in Oklahoma to study computer technology. Brumit is the daughter of Jason and Claudette Brumit of Oklahoma City. She is currently employed at Phoenix Home Health as an Intake Coordinator. She graduated from Astec Charter School in 2011 and plans to attend college to study elementary education. Rev.
