Warren Eugene Arieux, of Slidell, passed away on Monday,?January 27, 2014.
He was 92 years old.
He was the husband the late late Luce “Dolly” Enloe Arieux, who passed away on May 3, 2012.
A funeral Mass was held on Feb. 1 at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 66192 St. Mary Drive, Pearl River.

Frank Robert Prieto, of Slidell, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014.
He was 73 years old.
He was the husband of Geraldine Deshotel Prieto.
A funeral Mass was held on Jan. 30 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert Blvd. Slidell.

Wayne A. Rayburn passed away on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014.
He was 86 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Vernice Singletary Rayburn; sons, Donald Wayne Rayburn, Lawrence Douglas Rayburn (Bonnie), and Michael Glenn Rayburn (Alberta); daughter, Brenda Rayburn Polk (Johnny Sanchez); and sister, Emilda Rayburn Singletary (Edward).
Rayburn was also survived by 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Emma Rayburn; brothers, J.W. Rayburn and Quitman Rayburn; sister, Vivian Keating; and grandchildren, Donald Christopher Rayburn and John Wayne Rayburn.
A funeral service was held on Jan. 30 at D.T. Williams Funeral Home, Pearl River.

Marjorie “Margie” Difiore Williams Mullaney passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014.
She was 89 years old.
She was born in Akron, Ohio to the late Sontino and Anna Difiore and was a resident of Slidelll for the last 16 years.
She was the wife of the late Ashton E. Williams by her first marriage and the late John W. Mullaney Jr. by her second marriage.
She was the mother of Roger A. Williams (Linda) and the late Terry M. Williams.
She is also survived by grandchildren, Wendy (Aaron) and Ashton; and great-granddaughters, Paige and Kaylee.

William John Gayle Jr., of Slidell, passed away on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014.
He was 71 years old.
He is the father of Gaylyn Provosty, Joleen Samrow, William Gayle III, and Brian Gayle; and brother of Nancy Galatas, Betty Faciane and Kathy Way.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Jan. 28 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Pearl River.

Pearson “Porkey”?Long Jr., of Slidell, passed away on Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, in Slidell from mesothelioma.
He was 76 years old.
He was the husband of Gloria “Doni” Long; father of Donna “Jeanne” Vincent (Harold “Sputty”), Patti Sedille (Billy), Deana Berke (Kim), and Gary “Bubby” Long (Roberta); son of the late Pearson and Katie Long Moorman; and brother of Gus Long, Wayne Long, Huey Long, Faye Givens, Myra Owens, and the late Joe Long.
He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Randee Vincent, Rikki Provenzano, Rachel Hunt, Jessica Sedille, Kurt Sedille, Kevin Sedille, Austin Berke, Preslie Long, and Karlee Barringer; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was a native of Anniston, Ala., and a lifelong resident of Slidell. Long was a welder for Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #60, and Durwood Dunn Inc.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Funeral services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West (in Forest Lawn Cemetery), Slidell, on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 11 a.m.

Jacob S. Heigle Jr. passed away on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, while surrounded by his loving wife and family.
He was 91 years old.
Heigle was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob S. Heigle and Margaret Hennessey Heigle; brothers, Edward, Leo, James, and Paul Heigle; and sisters, Camille Hernandez, and Miriam Zimmerman.
He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Elaine Williams Heigle; son-in-law, Louis Servary; and one great-grandson, Dacoda Heigle.
Heigle is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Bachmin Heigle; eight children, Elaine, Jacob, William (Chris), Timothy (Reba), James (Nora), Frank, Anita (Billy), and Linda; sister, Shirley Heigle Betz; sisters-in-law, Shirley Heigle and Sandra Heigle; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was a native Orleanian and moved to Slidell after Hurricane Katrina. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Pensacola during World War II and saw many major battles in the Pacific. He was a member of AARP chapter #4716 and the Happy Hour Club.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 1 p.m., at St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 910 Crossgates Blvd., Slidell.
Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Notre Dame Hospice or Childrens Hospital.

On Thursday January 30, 2014, Vincent Tomczak age 66 of Slidell, LA passed away. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Tomczak, children Kathy Crawford Ladner and Brandon Tomczak, brother Sigmund Tomczak, sister Joyce Krantz, grandchildren Katelyn and Kasey, and his aunt Jewell Cunningham. Mr. Tomczak is preceded in death by his parents Sigmund and Ethel Tomczak Parker.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at D.T. Williams Funeral Home located at 67525 Hwy 41, Pearl River, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until 1:00PM with service starting at 1:00PM. Interment will follow at Hickory Memorial Gardens Cemetery also located in Pearl River, Louisiana. Sister Kitty Hale officiating.
