SLIDELL — Northshore’s Lady Panthers continue to impress with their play as they recentle defeated Ponchatoula 3-0 (25-9, 25-12, 25-8).
Northshore got out of the blocks quickly and never looked back as they imposed their will on the Greenies.
Hailey Kirkpatrick led the Panthers with 13 kills and four aces. Amanda Giardina recorded 10 kills and four aces and Carly Merry tallied eight kills and eight digs. Sabrina Buelle had 11 digs, Caitlin Epperson had seven kills and Hannah Epperley set up the offense nicely with 38 assists.
The Green Wave (8-19, 2-6) were led by Emily Waddell who finished with five kills and seven digs while Schuylar Ramsey collected five kills.
Northshore coach Danny Davis was pleased with the win saying, “I thought our defense did a great job on their first ball contact to allow our setter, Hannah (Epperley) to distribute the ball to all of our hitters.”
The Panthers traveled to take on the Fontainebleau Lady Bulldogs in their quest to remain in the ranks of the unbeatens in district play while Ponchatoula head to Covington to take on the Lady Lions.
