PEARL RIVER—The Lakeshore Titans notched their fourth win of the season as the Titans defeated Pearl River 49-13 in the District 8-4A win at Pearl River.
With the victory, Lakeshore improved to 4-5 and 2-2 in district play while Pearl River fell to 0-9 and 0-4 in district.
Quarterback Zach Vicknair accounted for both touchdowns for Pearl River and finished the game 6-of-12 for 74 yards and two scores. Vicknair connected with sophomore Al Dauth for both touchdowns. Vicknair also led the rushing attack with 14 carries for 56 yards followed by Devan Penton who rushed 11 times for 24 yards and Jace Littleton who had 13 carries for 26 yards bringing their rushing total to 106 yards and their total yardage of 180 on the night.
Pearl River will look to record its first win when it faces Salmen on road next week and Lakeshore will remain at home to play East Jefferson in its final regular season game.
