Carolyn Pinto, of Slidell, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 29, 2013.
She was 78 years old.
She was the wife of Narciso T. Pinto; mother of Eduardo Pinto, Estrelita Stehlin, and Elizabeth Bonck; daughter of the late Guido Amedeo and Jean Gong Amedeo; and sister of Douglas Amedeo and the late Virginia Tolan.
She was a native of New York and a resident of Slidell since 1995.
Pinto was the Vice President of the St. Tammany Chapter of the AARP and was a member of the Sons of Italy, Slidell. She was also a devoute Catholic and enjoyed attending mass at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Slidell.
A memorial mass was held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert Blvd., Slidell, on Monday, June 3.

Charles Carl Spinosa Jr., passed away on Friday, May 24, 2013.
He was 64 years old.
He was preceded in death by his mother Hazel Browing Spinosa and father Charles Carl Spinosa Sr.
Spinosa was a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Metairie and Slidell for the past 40 years.
He was the husband of Susan Peters Spinosa, and they would have been married 41 years on August 9, 2013. He was the father of Todd Alan Spinosa and Bryan Charles Spinosa; father In-law of Erin Kaye Spinosa and Kimberly Ann Spinosa; brother of Kathryn Ann Salzer of Baton Rouge, La.; and grandfather of Madeline Ann Spinosa.
Spinosa was a graduate of Loyola University where he received his Bachelor and Masters Degree in music. He was a gifted trumpet player and one time member of John Fred & His Playboy Band. His music career followed playing trumpet professionally in New Orleans for the past 30 years.
Private family memorial service to be held.

Elizabeth “Bessie”?Dubuisson Pike, of Slidell, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013.
She was 88 years old.
She was the wife of the late Whitney G. Pike Jr.; mother of Linda Pike Markert (Woody), Judy Pike Dunaway (C.J.), Michael G. Pike (Rhonda), Terry J. Pike, Janet L. Pike, and the late John C. Pike; daughter of the late Sarah Ann Broom Dubuisson Williams and George Joseph Dubuisson; and sister of Marguerite Moran, Ronnie Williams, Beverly Sweetman, the late Doris Olivier, Norman Dubuisson and Vivian Talley.
She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Slidell.
A funeral service was held at Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell on Saturday, June 1.

Nicholas Francis Chappetta Jr. passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013.
He was married for 43-plus years to his high school sweetheart Ruby (Judy), and was a 1969 graduate of Slidell High School. He worked for Owens-Illinois for over 35 years, retiring as a plant superintendent.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby (Judy); daughter, Judy (Eric) Morgan; son, Nicholas III (Brooke) Chappetta; and grandchildren, Jackson, Cade, Courtnee, Callee, Cloee, and Canton.
He is also survived by his mother, Margaret Chappetta; and siblings, Lloyd (Gina) Chappetta, Karen (Rodney) Davidson, Norman Chappetta, Angela (Tom) Godin, Tommy (Donnis) Chappetta.
He is preceded in death by his father, Nicholas Francis Chappetta Sr.; and sister, Lucy Coulon.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 1 at St. Genevieve Church, 58203 Hwy 433, Slidell.
Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to either the ASPCA or The Knights of Columbus.

Hampton “Ross” Wolfe Jr., of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013.
He was 85 years old.
He was born December 3, 1927, in New Orleans to the late Hampton Ross Wolfe Sr. and Adelyn Marietta Colatta. Wolfe was the husband of the late Vivian B. Hawkins Wolfe.
He served for 20 years through World War II, the Korean Conflict, and into Vietnam. After the Navy, he was the Utilities Director for Oceana NAS, also retiring after 20 years.
Wolfe is survived by his son, Hampton Ross Wolfe; step-children, Winston Hawkins, and Sondra Hawkins; and grandchildren, Max Hawkins, Levi Hawkins, Dusty Wolfe, Viviana Molina, and C.J. Hawkins.
A funeral service was held on Monday, June 3 at Twiford Funeral Home, 500 Budleigh St. Manteo, NC.

Jack R. Harrison, a longtime resident of Slidell, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Slidell Memorial Hospital.
He was 75 years old.
He was the father of Ray Harrison (Kathy), Bobby Harrison (Tammy), Susan Ohlenforst (John), Chris Harrison (Tammy), and Thomas Harrison (Ally); son of the late Harvey and Birdie Harrison; and brother of Peggy King.
He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Harrison was a native of Trenton, Tennessee, and a resident of Slidell for the past 39 years.
A memorial service will be held at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Pearl River on Friday, June 7 at 6 p.m. Friends may visit at the church on Friday beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Brenda Nicolosi, of Slidell, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013.
She was 52 years old.
She was the wife of Russell Nicolosi; mother of Felicia Nicolosi, Mandy Nicolosi, Russell Nicolosi Jr., and Scott Nicolosi; daughter of the late John Tillman and Lena May Taylor; and sister of Marie Taylor, Shirley Wheat, Theresa Nunez, Louise Matherne, Troy Taylor, and Barbara Cashman.
She is also survived by five grandchildren, Elijah Nicolosi, Scott Nicolosi Jr., Emma Nicolosi, Blake Fellon, and Marcus Nicolosi.
She was a native of New Orleans, and a resident of Slidell.
A visitation will be held at Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell on Thursday, June 6 from 6 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 7p.m.

Anna Mae Kreger, of Slidell, passed away at home on Sunday, June 2, 2013.
She was 52 years old.
She was the wife of Jeffery W. Kreger Sr. for 34 years; mother of Jeffery W. Kreger Jr. and Joseph C. Kreger and fiancé Julia Miller; daughter of Rose May Cortes and the late Melvin Cortes; sister of Sheryl VanBibber, Laura McDonald, Albert J. Cortes and the late Christopher Cortes.
Kreger was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell for the past seven years.
Funeral services were held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West, Slidell, on Wednesday, June 5.
