SLIDELL — The First Baptist Christian boys fell 78-34 to Johnson Bayou last Friday in the Class C state basketball playoffs.
Johnson Bayou sophomore Cameron Hare had 27 points in the first half with eight of those points coming on two-handed slam sinks. Junior Chris Baron had 21 points at the half.
Johnson Bayou got out of the blocks quickly opening up with a 19-5 first quarter lead and a 41-18 halftime lead. They also outscored FBC 37-17 in the second half to coast to the win. Scoring for FBC were Harrison Fredericks with 14 points and six rebounds while Justin Darby followed with 11 points and three rebounds.
