SLIDELL – A number of coaching changes have taken place at Northshore High School, according to athletic director Tom Gainey.
The changes were finalized and released to the media last Monday.
Head basketball coach Joey Tolis has resigned his position and will be replaced by Jerry Hernández who will lead the Panthers next season. Hernández was the assistant coach under Tolis and was also the head coach of the tennis team.
Also stepping into new shoes will be Tim Holmes who will take over the reins of the tennis program from Hernández. Holmes is no stranger to Panther sports. Several years ago, Holmes was the head coach of the Lady Panther basketball team.
The swimming program at Northshore will change hands as well. Head coach Louise Barakat will be replaced by Heather Giraud.
